ASK…RECEIVE.

ASK…RECEIVE.

There are times in life when we have goals and dreams that seem unattainable because we don’t have the proper resources or not enough resources. We let our potential go unestablished because we let our IDEA of lack get in the way of our advancement.

The truth is, we have everything we need. We have every resource available to us. We have every necessity at our fingertips. Whatever situation we are in, we have everything we need.

How so?

How does someone who needs a car to get to their job, who doesn’t have a car, have all they need?

How does someone who needs food and no money, have all they need?

How does someone who needs comfort and finds none, have all they need?

The Word.

God.

Jesus.

The Holy Spirit.

We have every necessity, every opportunity, every provision, every resource, available to us through Him. Look to Him, not the world.

All we must do is ask and receive.

Matthew 7:11 (KJV)

If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Luke 12:24

Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feedeth them: how much more are ye better than the fowls?

Psalm 34:10

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing.

Matthew 7:8

For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

  1. Misty, this post was literally a Godsend! I needed this more than you know, but God did 🙂 I’m endeavoring in some writing projects that I don’t feel equipt to handle and yet God is saying, “trust me.”
Thanks for the much-needed reminder that I have all I need!

    1. Amen Becky. I completely get it. I had the same thing happened to me not too long after I made this post. I was reading through some other bloggers and came across one that brought me to tears because God knew what I needed. So much so that I printed it off and posted it to my closet door! He knows how to speak to our hearts 💜

  2. Another great post, Misty! What a loving Father we have… And I love how you wrote, “Look to Him, not the world.” Amen! He really does provide all we ever need.
